Karin M. Holmes, born raised and educated in Munich Germany. In the early 70ies, she moved to Paris, working for as a store manager at a German retailer for cameras and other optical equipment. Returned to Munich in 1980 and worked for mostly American computer leasing companies.
On a trip to the United States in the early 80ies she met her husband Robert B. Holmes
and immigrated in1986 to the United States, lived in Los Angeles and New York and became a permanent resident to Naples Florida in 1998.
In 1999, Karin became a board member of the German American Business Chamber of SW Florida.
She is, and was, also a member of the following committees and organizations:

• Friends of the Arts
• English Speaking Union
